During 2002/2003 Peta did some work for Accounting & Financial Services and returned to Cape York Accounting in July of 2003 before going out into her own business in April 2004.

Peta is very community minded. She joined the State Emergency Service in 2001 and is now the Group Leader for he Holloways Beach Group.
